I started at the bottom. My career in the insurance field started back in 2008 as an independent agent trying to figure out how to market my business, manage cash flows, and build my book of business. Over this 16 year span I have grown my business from a one-man shop to a full-blown agency operating in 45 states. I know what it takes to accomplish a lucrative career in this industry. I’ve done everything from face-to-face appointments to phone sales. I know what it’s like to be worried about paying your rent and car payments. To have to be concerned about keeping the lights on and food on the table for a young growing family. Been there. Done that.
I have seen agents on the cusp of accomplishing financial freedom and I have seen those that made it to the finish line. The difference between the two is simple. One agent was trained and given the proper support and the other was not. It is my mission to help each agent learn this business the right way and provide them with the support needed to succeed. Today I serve as President and CEO of HealthGuys insurance agency with over 75 full time employees and 100’s of independent agents that have made the decision to partner with us. I never would have made it in the business if it wasn’t for a mentor that helped me develop into what I am today.

Joe Talarico

Joe has 26 years experience in the health insurance profession. He has been a multi million dollar personal producer during his career. He has performed management responsibilities from District, Division, Vice President management roles and currently serves as Executive Vice President for Health Guys. Inspiring new producers to enjoy the benefits of a successful career has always been Joe’s top priority.
David Reed

David Reed has been a part of the Insurance industry since 1994, mostly spent in the Health and Life space involved in sales and team management.
From 1994 to 2011, David teamed with a large nationally recognized agency. Primarily responsible for sales and management of sales teams. As an independent sales rep, consistently ranked in top 20 sales reps nationally. At sales manager level, trained and led sales teams that ranked in the top 10 nationally. David also ran the agency office for the state of Louisiana. Managed all aspects of business – Recruitment, training, marketing / lead generation and sales.
As of 2022 David is currently a principal and acting Vice President of Talent Acquisitions for HealthGuys Inc., located in Fort Worth TX.
Brian McKittrick
Vice President of Sales

Brian McKittrick is a career sales professional & leader, and has been a top performer since his first commission sales position in 1999. For over 20 years, Brian has excelled in the retail, car, and insurance industries. First licensed in 2005, Brian joined Health Guys in the fall of 2015 and has been a perennial million dollar producer. Brian has excelled within the agency as an agent, team leader, division sales leader, the company sales training manager, and now the Vice President of Sales for our career agents.
Brian is the best-selling author of the sales guide “It Ain’t Rocket Surgery - 21 Simple Tips that will Take Your Sales to the Moon!”. Since 2020, Brian has spoken and trained on sales and leadership skills for small business conferences.
Brian is a husband, and father of two. He lives in the DFW Metroplex.

Steven has been a perennial million dollar individual producer for over two decades. From the old days of belly to belly sales to the new telesales trend, Steven has shown the ability to adapt to change in our industry and still maintain a very high level of productivity. Along the way Steven has come to realize that it’s not only about producing, it is also about maximizing the income potential that is available. Ever has been in the individual health and ancillary industry since 2000. His experience navigating the health insurance market compliments agent and agency sales models. Recruiting, agent support and training are key. In his down time, Ever enjoys traveling and beach time.
Evan Altman
UHOne National Account Executive
Evan Altman has worked with UHOne for over 16 years in various roles, the latest of which is as a National Account Executive. He has navigated an ever-changing market throughout his time in the insurance industry and helps health insurance agents and agencies to do the same. When he’s not preaching on the virtues of UHOne’s products, you can probably find him at the ballpark or enjoying a glass of bourbon.
